The Fédération Sahraouie du Football ( Arabic الاتحاد الصحراوي لكرة القدم, DMG al-Ittiḥād aṣ-Ṣaḥrāwī li-kurat al-qadam , Spanish Federación Saharaui de Fútbol ) is the football association of the controversial Democratic Arab Republic of the Sahara .

He is neither a member of the African Football Association CAF nor of FIFA . For this reason, participation in international tournaments of the two associations is excluded. The association has been a full member of the Confederation of Independent Football Associations since 2013 .

The association was founded in 1989 and is based in El Aaiún . He has organized the annual Sahrawi Republic Cup since 2016 . Occasionally, clubs from the Western Sahara have played in Moroccan football leagues and taken part in cup competitions.
