The Kenyan national soccer team is the national soccer team of Kenya and is controlled by the local soccer association, the Kenya Football Federation.

Kenya has already qualified for the Africa Cup six times, most recently in 2019 , but was always eliminated in the first round. The country has never participated in a world championship .

The national players who work in Europe mostly play in the leagues of Sweden and Belgium . The country's most famous football player right now is Victor Wanyama , who plays for Tottenham Hotspur .

The team's nickname, "The Harambee Stars", is derived from the Swahili word " Harambee ", which roughly means "Let's all pull together".
