The Eritrean national football team , the football national team of the East African country of Eritrea , one of the youngest in Africa . The national soccer team of the African state of Eritrea is one of the weakest in the world. The country has never qualified for a soccer world championship or soccer championship. The association has only played international matches since 1992, and has won a few so far. The 2nd place at the CECAFA-Cup 2019 is the biggest success in Eritrean football so far.
