history
The team was known until 1980 as the national team of Rhodesia , as Zimbabwe was formerly called.
The team has never taken part in the World Cup, but has qualified for four Africa Cup tournaments and has also won the Southern African Championship four times . After failing to qualify for the Africa Cup in 2013 and being involved in match fixing, the national team was disbanded on November 3, 2012.
