Promotion to the 3rd division

For promotion to the 3rd division, the master was athletically qualified to participate in the promotion games. Here VfL Wolfsburg II failed at SG Sonnenhof Großaspach .

Relegation from the Regionalliga Nord

The three teams in places 16, 17 and 18 of the Regionalliga Nord were relegated at the end of the season. Should the champions of the Regionalliga Nord move up to the 3rd division and there is no relegation from the NFV area, only the 17th and 18th will be relegated.

The FIFA had ordered a forced relegation against SV Wilhelmshaven , which was confirmed by the International Court of Justice for Sports (CAS) and finally also by the Bremen Regional Court . Wilhelmshaven would not have kept the class in terms of sport either. Since no league license had been granted for economic reasons, Wilhelmshaven entered the state league the following season.
