The 2013/14 season of the Regionalliga Bayern was the second season of the Football Regionalliga Bayern and the sixth season of the Football Regionalliga as the fourth highest division in Germany. 19 teams took part this season. The promoters from the Bayernliga 2012/13 were 1. FC Schweinfurt 05 and SV Schalding-Heining .
The first game of the season took place on July 12, 2013, the last match day was played on May 24, 2014. The winter break interrupted the season from December 1, 2013 to March 8, 2014.
The champions of the previous season took part with the second team of TSV 1860 Munich , as they did not manage to qualify for the higher division via the promotion games.
This season's championship was the second team of FC Bayern Munich , which qualified for the promotion games in the third division .

Promotion and relegation regulation
- Promotion to the 3rd division:
- For promotion to the 3rd division, the master is athletically qualified to participate in the promotion games. If the master does not participate in the promotion round, a possible successor must have occupied at least fourth place in the table in order to fulfill the sporting qualification.
- Apart from FC Bayern Munich, no club had applied for a license for the 3rd division.
- direct relegation from the Regionalliga Bayern:
- At the end of the season, the last three clubs from the Regionalliga Bayern will be relegated.
- direct promotion to the Regionalliga Bayern:
- At the end of the season, the champions of the two seasons north and south of the Bavarian League are promoted to the Regional League Bavaria.
- Qualifying round for remaining / promotion to the Regionalliga Bayern:
- The 15th and 16th of the Regionalliga Bayern play in a qualifying round in play-offs with the two runners-up of the Bayernliga relays from two clubs that will play in the Regionalliga Bayern in the 2014/15 season .
