Vitalij Lux (born February 27, 1989 in Karabalta , Kyrgyz SSR , Soviet Union ) is a Kyrgyz national football player . He was last under contract with SSV Ulm in 1846 .

Club career

Lux started his career at the lower class Bavarian club FV Weißenhorn. This was followed by a position at TSG Thannhausen . His most successful time to date was between 2010 and 2014 at FV Illertissen , for whom he scored 31 goals in 69 league games. In 2013 he failed with Illertissen in the first row of the DFB Cup at Eintracht Frankfurt . After a rather unsuccessful stint at FC Carl Zeiss Jena , he switched to the second team of 1. FC Nürnberg in 2015 , where he attracted the attention of SpVgg Unterhaching . In the winter break of 2015/16 he joined Unterhaching and was able to celebrate promotion to the 3rd division in the following season. There he made his professional football debut by substituting for Thomas Steinherr in the 3-0 defeat against SV Werder Bremen II on July 22, 2017, the first matchday of the 2017/18 season. He scored his first and so far only goal in the 3rd division for Unterhaching in a 4-0 home win against SV Meppen on September 23, 2017 (10th matchday). Overall, he came in the 3rd league season that was successful for Unterhaching in 10 missions, but only played 159 minutes and was therefore unable to prevail over the long term. His contract, which expired at the end of the season, was not extended, after which he again joined SSV Ulm in 1846. In the 2-1 success in the first main round of the DFB-Pokal 2018/19 against the reigning title holder Eintracht Frankfurt, Lux scored the goal for the interim 2-0 lead for Ulm. In the subsequent first half of the season he was a regular player for a long time, before he moved into the second tier after missing the preparation for the second half of the season because of his participation in the 2019 Asian Cup and was only used as a substitute at times. In the first half of the following season he was hardly used and, after he had played a total of 194 minutes of play over four missions by the winter break, the contract that expired in summer 2020 was terminated prematurely on January 31 of that year.

At the end of January 2020, Lux joined Türkspor Neu-Ulm in the Württemberg State League Season II . Due to the corona pandemic , he only had two assignments there before his contract ended on July 31, 2020. He then joined the TuS Geretsried in the Bavarian State League Southwest .

National team

On June 11, 2015, Lux made his debut for the Kyrgyz national soccer team in a 3-1 victory in the World Cup qualifier against Bangladesh . Lux scored his first international goal in the 2-0 win also against Bangladesh on October 13, 2018. At the 2019 Asian Football Championship in the United Arab Emirates , Lux scored all three goals for Kyrgyzstan in a 3-1 win against the Philippines, making his team one of the best group thirds in the round of 16.

Personal

Lux completed an apprenticeship as a wholesale and foreign trade merchant . At the end of July 2020, he lived with his girlfriend in Wolfratshausen and completed an apprenticeship as a personal and fitness trainer .
