Nicolas Görtler (born March 8, 1990 in Bamberg ) is a German football player . The striker has been playing for FC Eintracht Bamberg since summer 2019 .

Career

Görtler started playing football at SC Kemmern and moved to 1. FC Eintracht Bamberg in 2005 . There he played for the first team in the Regionalliga Süd in 2009/10 . After 1. FC Eintracht Bamberg had to file for bankruptcy, Görtler continued to play in the Bayern League for the successor club FC Eintracht Bamberg in 2010. After 17 goals in 20 first round matches, he moved to the second team of 1. FC Nürnberg in January 2011 . In the summer of 2012 he moved to the 3rd division for SV Wehen Wiesbaden . His contract with Hessen ran until 2013. After this had not been extended, Görtler returned to Bamberg at the beginning of the 2013/14 season . For Eintracht he scored 21 goals in 35 games in his first year. After the 2015/16 season, Görtler moved to 1. FC Schweinfurt 05 . He played with the Schweinfurters for the next three years in the Regionalliga Bayern, but the envisaged championship did not succeed. Görtler returned to Eintracht Bamberg in summer 2019.

Nicolas' younger brother Lukas  - also a soccer player - has been active for the Swiss first division club FC St. Gallen since the 2019/20 season .
