Julian Wesley Green (born June 6, 1995 in Tampa , Florida ) is a German-American football player . Mostly raised in Upper Bavaria and trained at FC Bayern Munich , he is currently under contract with the second division club SpVgg Greuther Fürth . After playing mostly for Germany in the junior division, he has been the US national player since 2014 and took part in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil with the national team.

Youth and first professional contract

One was Green, the son of German and an African American in Tampa in the US state of Florida born. At the age of two he came to Germany with his mother . He grew up in Miesbach , Upper Bavaria , where he started playing football in the youth teams of FC Miesbach and SG Hausham , before moving to the youth department of FC Bayern Munich in 2009.

For the 2013/14 season, Green, who at that time could still have played in the A-Youth (U19), moved up to the second team . In his debut on July 17, 2013 in a 4-2 win at the Würzburger Kickers , he scored two goals. Green was a regular player in the fourth-class Bavarian regional league and recommended himself to the professional team with three more double goals and a triple goal up to November. On November 8, 2013, he received a professional contract dated June 30, 2017. Loan to Hamburger SV

Green on duty for the USA
