Abdourahmane Barry (born February 21, 2000 in Courbevoie ) is a French football player . The defender is under contract with SpVgg Greuther Fürth in Germany .

Career

At the beginning of his career, Barry played in the Paris Saint-Germain academy . With the club's U19 he took part in the 2017/18 season in the UEFA Youth League , but was not used. In February 2018 he was in the PSG B squad for the first time against Monts d'Or Azergues Foot and made his debut for them in the National 2 in March 2018 when he started against FC Villefranche on matchday 22 . By the end of the season, the defender had four appearances in the fourth-highest French division.

For the 2018/19 season, the Frenchman moved to Austria for FC Red Bull Salzburg , with whom he received a contract valid until May 2023. However, it should initially be used for the FC Liefering farm team .

Barry made his debut for Liefering in the second division on matchday one when he was in the starting line-up against SV Horn . In his first season with Liefering he completed 14 missions in central defense in the second division, 12 of which over the full season. He was twelfth with the team, but they also conceded the fourth most goals against all 16 participants. After the season 2019/20 with Bryan Okoh another player from Salzburg had come and no way around the trunk central defenders Alois Oroz and David Affengruber led past the Frenchman played in the sequence are no longer relevant and was only twice in the matchday squad.
