David Affengruber (born March 19, 2001 in Scheibbs ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Affengruber began his career at SC Wieselburg . In September 2013 he switched to the youth team at FC Red Bull Salzburg . At Red Bull Salzburg he went through all age groups in the academy from the 2015/16 season.

For the 2019/20 season, he moved into the squad of the FC Liefering farm team . He made his debut for Liefering in the 2nd division in July 2019 when he was in the starting line-up against SKU Amstetten on the first day of that season . In the game that Liefering lost 3-2, he also scored his first second division goal.

National team

Affengruber played against Latvia for the first time for the Austrian U-19 team in September 2019 .
