Luka Sučić (born September 8, 2002 in Linz , Austria ) is a Croatian soccer player .

Career

society

Sučić began his career at SV Alkoven . For the 2012/13 season he moved to the youth of Union Edelweiß Linz . He joined the FC Red Bull Salzburg academy in February 2016 .

In September 2018 he was against SC Austria Lustenau for the first time in the squad of the farm team FC Liefering , but was not used. In July 2019, his contract with Salzburg was extended to May 2022.

In September 2019 he played for the first time for the Salzburg U-19 team in the UEFA Youth League . In the same month he finally made his debut for Liefering in the 2nd division when he was in the starting line-up against FC Dornbirn 1913 on matchday seven of the 2019/20 season and was replaced by Jung-Min Kim in the 77th minute .

In July 2020, his contract was renewed prematurely, this time until June 2024.

National team

Sučić played for a Croatian youth national team for the first time in April 2017. In August 2018 he made his debut against Hungary for the U-17 team .

Personal

Sučić's ancestors come from Bugojno in Bosnia and Herzegovina and fled to Alkoven in the 1990s .
