Angelika Dreock-Käser (born March 2, 1967 in Bremervörde ) is a German paracycler .

Athletic career

Angelika Dreock-Käser started with athletics at the age of eleven , from medium to long distances she came to marathons . She completed 38 marathons in ten years. She started for the SC DHfK Leipzig and there in a team with the bronze medalist of the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona , Katrin Dörre-Heinig . She won various national championship titles.

In 1999 Dreock-Käser moved to Bavaria and worked there as a sports physiotherapist , masseuse and medical lifeguard . Due to injuries, she switched to the duathlon in 2001 .

In 2009 Angelika Dreock-Käser suffered a stroke . Since then she has suffered from gait ataxia (disorder of movement coordination ). Together with her husband, she started cycling and competed in races in class C4 (two-wheeler) from 2012, and in 2017 she switched to the tricycle (T2). At the UCI Paracycling Road World Championships 2019 , she took silver in road racing.
