Kim Jung-min ( Korean 김정민, born November 13, 1999 in Incheon ) is a South Korean football player .
Career
society
Kim started his career at Gwangju FC . In January 2018 he moved to Austria for FC Red Bull Salzburg , where he received a contract that ran until June 2022, but where he will initially be used for the farm team FC Liefering and in the A-youth in the UEFA Youth League .
In March 2018 he made his debut for Liefering in the second division when he was in the starting line-up against SV Ried on matchday 22 of the 2017/18 season and was replaced by Mohamed Camara in the 71st minute . After 41 appearances for Liefering in the 2nd division, Kim was awarded a year and a half to Bundesliga club FC Admira Wacker Mödling in January 2020 . After he only made three appearances for Admira in the Bundesliga in the 2019/20 season, the loan contract was terminated prematurely after the 2019/20 season.
He then moved to Portugal to Vitória Guimarães for the 2020/21 season , where he received a contract that ran until June 2024.
National team
Kim has already played for various South Korean youth national teams. With the U-17 selection , he took part in the 2015 World Cup, where Belgium failed in the round of 16 .
As of 2016, Kim played for the U-20 selection . In June 2018 he came to his first assignment for the U-23 team . In the same year he also took part in the Asian Games with the U-23 team of South Korea . With South Korea he won the tournament. Kim was featured in six of the Koreans' seven games.
In November 2018 he made his debut for the senior team when he was in a friendly against Australia in extra time for in-Beom Hwang came on. In 2019 he took part in the World Cup with South Korea's U-20 selection .
