Mohamed Camara (born January 6, 2000 ) is a Malian football player .

Career

society

Camara started his career at AS Real Bamako . In January 2018 he moved to Austria for FC Red Bull Salzburg , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2022. However, it should initially be used for the FC Liefering farm team .

He made his debut for Liefering in the second division in February 2018 when he was in the starting line-up against FC Blau-Weiß Linz on matchday 21 of the 2017/18 season. He scored his first goal for Liefering in May 2018 in a 3-2 win against TSV Hartberg . In his first season he came to 15 missions for the second division, in which he scored a goal.

In January 2019 it was awarded to the Bundesliga club TSV Hartberg . He made his Bundesliga debut in March 2019 against FC Wacker Innsbruck . By the end of the loan, he made seven Bundesliga appearances for Hartberg. After the loan ended, he joined the Salzburg squad for the 2019/20 season.

National team

Camara took in 2017 with the Malian U-17 team at the World Cup in part where one fourth.

In February 2019 he participated with the U-20 selection in the African Championship , which they won. Camara was featured in one of Mali's five games during the tournament. Due to the success at the African Championships, they also took part in the World Cup in the same year , where they failed in the quarter-finals against Italy . Camara was used in four out of five games. In September 2019 he played for the U-23 team for the first time .

In October 2019 Camara made his debut against South Africa for the senior team . In November 2019, he scored his first goal for Mali in a 2-0 win over Chad .
