Albert Vallci (born July 2, 1995 in Voitsberg ) is an Austrian football player of Kosovar - Albanian descent.
Career
society
Vallci began his career at FC Lankowitz . In 2009 he moved to Kapfenberger SV . In May 2011 he played for the first time for the third team of KSV, ASC Rapid Kapfenberg , in the fifth-class league . In the fifth highest division, he came to seven missions in the 2010/11 season, in which he scored a goal. In the 2011/12 season, 17 appearances in the major league followed. In March 2013 he made his debut against Villacher SV for the second team in the Regionalliga . In the 2012/13 season he graduated in games in the third highest division and 17 in the fifth highest. For the 2013/14 season he moved firmly into the squad of the third division team. In August 2013 he scored his first goal in the regional league in a 6-2 defeat against SV Wallern . In April 2014 he was against SC-ESV Parndorf 1919 for the first time in the Styrian professional squad. He made his debut in the second division in May 2014, when he was in the starting line-up against FC Liefering on matchday 35 of the 2013/14 season . By the end of the season he came to two missions in the second division and 24 for the amateurs in the regional league, with which he was relegated to the regional league at the end of the season.
After another five appearances in the second division, he moved to the regional division SV Lafnitz in January 2015 . For Lafnitz he will play twelve games in the regional league and one for the second team in the eight-class first class by the end of the 2014/15 season . With Lafnitz II he rose to the end of the season as a champion in the regional league . In the 2015/16 season he made 25 regional league appearances for the Styrians and scored one goal.
For the 2016/17 season he moved to the second division SV Horn , with whom he received a contract valid until June 2018. In September 2016 he scored his first second division goal in a 1-1 draw against LASK . By the end of the season he made 32 second division appearances for the Lower Austrians, in which he scored four goals. At the end of the season, however, he had to go straight back to the regional league with the promoted team as bottom of the table.
He then moved to second division FC Wacker Innsbruck for the 2017/18 season , with whom he received a contract that was valid until June 2018. For the Tyroleans he made 33 second division appearances in that season, in which he scored three goals. With Innsbruck he rose to the end of the season as a second division champion in the Bundesliga . In July 2018 he made his debut in the Bundesliga when he was in the starting line-up against FK Austria Wien on matchday one of the 2018/19 season.
After 16 Bundesliga appearances for Innsbruck, Vallci moved to league competitor FC Red Bull Salzburg in January 2019 , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2022. He also played his first UEFA Europa League game against FC Brugge near Salzburg in February 2019 . With Salzburg he failed in the round of 16 at SSC Napoli . In May 2019 he scored his first goal in the top Austrian league in a 7-0 win against SKN St. Pölten . With Salzburg he won the double from the cup and league in the 2018/19 season . In the Bundesliga he made ten appearances by the end of the season.
As champions of the Austrian league, Salzburg qualified for the UEFA Champions League for the first time the following season , in which Vallci made his debut in November 2019 against KRC Genk . With the "cops" he slipped into third in the group of sixteenth finals of the Europa League, in which Eintracht Frankfurt was clearly defeated. Nationally, Salzburg was again dominant and so Vallci won the double again with his club, in the league he was in the championship group as a right-back, after he had always been used as a central defender at Salzburg. In the 2019/20 season, he made 18 league appearances in which he scored two goals, and one each in the Champions League and Europa League.
