Ousmane Diakité (born July 25, 2000 ) is a Malian football player .

Career

Diakité started his career at Yeelen Olympique . In July 2018 he moved to FC Red Bull Salzburg , with whom he received a contract that ran until May 2023. However, it should initially be used for the FC Liefering farm team .

He made his debut for Liefering in the second division in the same month when he started against SV Horn on matchday one of the 2018/19 season. In his debut for Liefering, Diakité was sent off after a second yellow card in the 90th minute.

For the 2019/20 season he was awarded to the Bundesliga club SCR Altach . During the loan, he made nine appearances for Altach in the Bundesliga . In September 2019 he suffered a serious knee injury against SV Mattersburg , whereupon he could not play a game at Altach until the end of his contract.

National team

Diakité took in 2015 with the Malian U-17 team at the World Cup in part. With Mali he finished second behind Nigeria . He was used in three of his country's seven games.

In 2017 he played for the U-20 team for the first time .
