Oumar Solet Bomawoko (born February 7, 2000 in Melun ) is a French football player on the position of central defender .
Career
society
Solet started his career at FC Dammarie-les-Lys . For the 2009/10 season he moved to US Créteil . In December 2012 he moved to US Villejuif . For the 2015/16 season he joined the youth team at Stade Laval . In December 2016 he played for the reserve of Laval in the fifth-highest division for the first time. In the 2016/17 season he came to five missions for this. In August 2017 he made his debut for the first team in the National Championships when he was in the starting line-up against US Concarneau on matchday one of the 2017/18 season. In total, he came to twelve missions in the third highest division.
In January 2018 he moved to the first division club Olympique Lyon , initially on loan. First, he played with the reserve in the fourth highest division, for which he completed eleven games by the end of the season. For the 2018/19 season he was given a permanent contract by Lyon. Solet finally made his Ligue 1 debut in January 2019, when he started against Toulouse FC on matchday 17 of that season and was replaced by Tanguy Ndombele in the 60th minute . This was his only season appearance for the professionals. He also came to 18 missions for the reserve of Lyon. In the canceled 2019/20 season he came to another Ligue 1 assignment, from January 2020 he was absent due to a torn cruciate ligament.
For the 2020/21 season he moved to Austria for FC Red Bull Salzburg , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2025.
National team
Solet played a game for the French U-17 team in September 2016 . Between August 2017 and March 2018 he came to seven missions for the U-18 team . In October 2018 he made his debut against Armenia for the U-19 selection . With this he also took part in the EM in 2019 . In this Solet was used in all four games of France. In the semifinals, he failed with his country to Spain . Solet came to the team of the tournament as one of four defenders.
In September 2019 he made his debut against Croatia for the U-20 team .
