Career
society
Adeyemi is the son of a Nigerian father and a Romanian mother. He began his career at the Munich district club TSV Forstenried and switched to FC Bayern Munich at the age of eight . Because of a lack of discipline there was a dispute and Adeyemi had to leave the club, so he moved to SpVgg Unterhaching in 2012 . After having previously worked through all youth departments, he made his debut for the U-19 team in the A-Junior Bundesliga in March 2018 . He scored his first goal in the A-Junioren-Bundesliga in April 2018 in a 2-3 defeat at Eintracht Frankfurt . With Unterhaching he had to relegate to the A-Junior Bayern League at the end of the season.
For the 2018/19 season, Adeyemi moved to FC Red Bull Salzburg , with whom he received a contract that ran until May 2021. In Salzburg he should initially be used for the FC Liefering farm team . Its use was delayed, however, because FIFA's game approval was only received at the end of August. He made his debut for Liefering in the 2nd division on September 1, 2018, when he was in the starting line-up against SC Austria Lustenau on matchday six of that season . Through the commitment, the German became the first player in the second-highest Austrian league to be born in 2002. He scored his first goal in the second division in the same month in a 3-0 win against FC Juniors OÖ . In his first season with Liefering he came to 20 missions in which he scored six goals. In the 2019/20 season , Adeyemi will also play for the U19s of FC Red Bull Salzburg in the UEFA Youth League .
In January 2020, his contract with Salzburg was extended to June 2024. Adeyemi should remain a cooperation player at FC Liefering, but train with FC Red Bull Salzburg under head coach Jesse Marsch . He finally made his debut in the Bundesliga in June 2020 when he came on as a substitute for Patson Daka in the 68th minute against SK Rapid Wien on the 23rd matchday of the 2019/20 season .
National team
Adeyemi played for the German U-16 national team for the first time against the Netherlands in February 2018 . In March 2018, he scored his first goal for a German selection in a 4-2 defeat against Italy .
In August 2018 he was appointed to the U-17 team for the first time . He made his debut in the same month against the Netherlands . With the German U-17 selection, he took part in the European Championship in 2019 , where he was eliminated as third in Group D in the preliminary round. Adeyemi came to two missions during the tournament, in which he scored one of the four tournament goals of the Germans.
