Reinhold "Ray" Yabo (born February 10, 1992 in Aldenhoven ) is a German football player .
Career
societies
During his youth, Yabo played for SV Teutonia Niedermerz . After attending the private grammar school Haus Overbach , he went to the sports boarding school of 1. FC Cologne and played there in several youth departments.
Since the 2009/10 season Yabo was in the squad of the second team of 1. FC Köln, which played in the Regionalliga West . He made his debut for the professional team in the Bundesliga on April 16, 2010 in a 2-0 win against VfL Bochum , when he came on after 89 minutes for the two-time goalscorer Zoran Tošić . He played his first Bundesliga game over a longer distance on January 16, 2011, when he came on after the half-time break in the away game against 1. FC Kaiserslautern (1: 1) for Petit , who had suffered a torn muscle. On April 24, 2011, he made his starting line-up debut in a 4-1 defeat against VfL Wolfsburg .
For the 2011/12 season , Yabo was loaned to the second division Alemannia Aachen . After 17 games in the first half of the season, he missed the entire second half of the season due to a knee injury, which ended for the club as penultimate in the table with relegation from the 2nd Bundesliga . For the 2012/13 season he returned to 1. FC Köln. In preparation for the 2012/13 season , Yabo was eliminated from the professional squad by coach Holger Stanislawski and reassigned to the second team.
For the 2013/14 season , Yabo moved to the second division Karlsruher SC on a free transfer . He made his league debut for KSC in the 1-0 away win against FSV Frankfurt on the first day of the season. He scored the first goal for KSC on February 14, 2014 (21st matchday) in a 1-1 draw against SpVgg Greuther Fürth with the goal to make it 1-0. After a strong 2014/15 season , in which Yabo scored five goals in 31 league games, he finished third with Karlsruher SC. The KSC met in the relegation for the first division promotion to Hamburger SV , the third from bottom of the 1st Bundesliga. After the first leg had ended 1: 1, Yabo scored in the second leg in the Wildparkstadion to lead 1-0. The HSV decided the game after extra time for themselves; the KSC was denied promotion.
After two years with Baden, he joined the Austrian champions FC Red Bull Salzburg for the 2015/16 season on a free transfer . Yabo made his competitive debut on September 21, 2016 in the ÖFB Cup game against SC Mannsdorf . He was substituted on in the 59th minute and scored the goal to make it 7-1. Previously, he was not used due to a knee injury.
In January 2017 it was awarded back to Germany to the second division Arminia Bielefeld . After the loan ended, he returned to Salzburg. In the following year and a half, Yabo completed 33 Bundesliga games for Salzburg.
In January 2019 he returned to Arminia Bielefeld, for whom he had already played on loan in the 2016/17 season.
National team
Yabo went through several youth selections of the DFB ; so he played for the U-15 , the U-16 , the U-17 , the U-18 , the U-19 and the U-20 team .
He experienced the preliminary climax of his career in May 2009 when he became the U-17 European champion as captain . With this success, the team qualified for the U-17 World Cup in Nigeria , where they lost to the Swiss team after extra time in the round of 16 .
He was awarded the Fritz Walter Medal in silver by the DFB in 2009 in the U-17 age group . In 2010 he also received the silver medal for the U-18 age group.

Reinhold Yabo's parents are both from the DR Congo .
On 25 May 2014, the believer has Christ for Wählergemeinschaft FOR Karlsruhe (formerly GfK) in the Assembly of the City of Karlsruhe selected . He gave up the mandate in June 2015 as he moved to Salzburg on June 25, 2015.
