Richard "Richy" Sukuta-Pasu (born June 24, 1990 in Wuppertal ) is a German football player . He is under contract with Seoul E-Land in the second South Korean division .
Career

Sukuta-Pasu's mother comes from France, the father from the Congo . You have lived in Germany since the 1960s. Sukuta-Pasu was born in Wuppertal-Langerfeld and initially registered with the Grün-Weiß Wuppertal football club .
In the summer of 2000, Sukuta-Pasu decided to move to the nearby club from Leverkusen after scouts from Bayer 04 Leverkusen discovered the young striker at the “adidas Cup” at the Kurt-Rieß facility in Leverkusen. He went through a number of youth teams from Bayer 04 to the U-19 team and became German A youth champion with them in 2007 . In 2008 he joined the second team, but also had a contract for the first division until 2011. Sukuta-Pasu trained as a sports and fitness businessman at Bayer 04. In 2008 he was awarded the Fritz Walter Bronze Medal as the best young player in Germany behind Sebastian Rudy and Toni Kroos . On August 16, 2008 he made his debut in the second team of Bayer Leverkusen. On September 13, 2008, he was used for the first time in the Bundesliga against Hamburger SV .
In January 2010 Sukuta-Pasu was loaned to FC St. Pauli for a year and a half . In his first appearance for FC St. Pauli in the league game at Rot Weiss Ahlen on January 16, 2010, 19 seconds after being substituted on, he scored the goal to make it 2-0 in the 87th minute.
For the 2011/12 season Sukuta-Pasu moved to 1. FC Kaiserslautern in the Bundesliga. He signed a contract valid until June 30, 2015. On the first day of the match he made his debut for FCK in the game against Werder Bremen in the starting lineup. At the end of the season Kaiserslautern rose from bottom of the table.
For the 2012/13 season Sukuta-Pasu was awarded to the Austrian first division club SK Sturm Graz , for which he completed 31 league games. In 2013 it was awarded to VfL Bochum .
For the 2014/15 season he moved to Cercle Brugge in the Belgian first class, where he ended the season after 25 appearances and two goals with the team only in 15th place in the table, a relegation place.
After the team could not survive in the relegation against Lierse SK , Sukuta-Pasu left the club and instead switched to the German third division Energie Cottbus at the end of August 2015 . In 31 league games he scored the most goals with ten goals within the club. In February 2016 he took over the office of captain of the team from Uwe Möhrle .
After relegation to the regional league, Sukuta-Pasu moved to SV Sandhausen in the summer of 2016 , where he played second class again.
For the 2018/19 season Sukuta-Pasu moved to the 2nd Bundesliga for MSV Duisburg . He received a contract until 2020.
After 14 appearances (one goal), Sukuta-Pasu moved to Asia in early March 2019. First he played with the Guangdong Southern Tigers in the second Chinese division . There he ended his only season with the Tigers in eleventh place in the table. He has been under contract with the South Korean second division club Seoul E-Land since January 2020 .
National team
Sukuta-Pasu has played for DFB selection teams since the U-17 . In 2007 he took part with the U-17 department at the U-17 European Championship in Belgium and the U-17 World Cup in South Korea . At the European Championship in Belgium, he scored the decisive goal in the match for 5th place shortly before the end of the game to make the 3-2 final against the Netherlands, which meant victory and at the same time qualification for the World Cup in South Korea in the same year. In 2008, the Leverkusen resident took part in the U-19 European Championship in the Czech Republic as the youngest and only 1990 class of his team . In the second round game against Bulgaria, Sukuta-Pasu injured his ankle and fell out of the last group game against Hungary. However, the striker was able to contest the semi-final against the Czech Republic and scored the 2-1 winning goal for Germany in extra time. He also took part in the final against Italy and scored the pioneering goal to make it 2-0 in the 61st minute. On August 19, 2008 Sukuta-Pasu made his debut for Germany's U-21s when he came on for Ashkan Dejagah against Moldova in the 73rd minute .
Style of play
Sukuta-Pasu combines great physical athleticism and robustness, which is favored by his height of 1.90 meters and his weight of 80 kilograms, with good technique and enormous speed. Jürgen Gelsdorf , former Sukuta-Pasu youth coach at Bayer 04 Leverkusen, described him as a robust striker with great footballing talent.
