Andreas Voglsammer (born January 9, 1992 in Rosenheim ) is a German football player on the position of a striker . He has been under contract with Arminia Bielefeld since January 2016 .

Career

societies

Voglsammer began his active career as a football player when he was still young in the youth division of the Upper Bavarian TSV Haag east of Munich, from where he finally came to TSV Dorfen about 15 kilometers to the north and then moved to the youth of TSV 1860 Rosenheim . Before moving to Rosenheim, he was also very successful for three years in the support group Jg'92 of the district of Erding. After a while in his hometown, the talented striker was accepted into the youth team of FC Bayern Munich . After Voglsammer was still in the squad of the U16 juniors at FC Bayern Munich at the beginning of 2008, he was also used in the club's U17 team in the course of the year. In 2009 he made it to the final of the German B-Junior Championship , where the youth of VfB Stuttgart lost 1: 3 in extra time. Voglsammer was not used in the final.

At an advanced age, the offensive player was also used in the club's U19 team and made his debut in the 2008/09 season after he had scored seven goals in 20 games in the B-Junioren-Bundesliga. After this brief assignment in 2008/09, Voglsammer was increasingly used in the A-youth in the 2009/10 season , but could not assert himself as a regular player. Nevertheless, he made 23 championship appearances, in which he scored ten goals. He completed his last league game for Bayern on June 13, 2010 in a 10-0 victory over the A-Juniors of SSV Jahn Regensburg . Among other things, he managed two hat tricks in 2010, one with a 5-0 win over Jahn Regensburg and the other with a 4-1 win over SV Waldhof Mannheim , who were bottom of the table at the time .

After a few years in the youth team of FC Bayern Munich, Voglsammer moved to Karlsruhe in the summer of 2010 , where he was accepted into the youth department of the second division club Karlsruher SC . There he initially played exclusively in the club's U19 team, but after impressing KSC coach Markus Schupp with his performance in friendly matches, he joined the club's professional squad for the first time in October 2010. After only briefly training with the pros there, he finally made his second division debut on October 16, 2010, when he came on for Georgian Aleksandre Iaschwili in the 82nd minute of the 2-0 home defeat against VfL Bochum . Although he had already played in the professional team, Voglsammer was still a junior player and had not yet signed a professional contract. During that season Voglsammer played twenty-two championship games for the U19 team and scored seven goals.

At the beginning of the 2011/12 season , Voglsammer left the KSC and joined the Bayern division TSV 1860 Rosenheim . There he immediately became a regular player. With twelve goals this season, he played a major role in the Rosenheim championship title and promotion to the Bavarian regional league. In July 2012 it was announced that Voglsammer was moving to SpVgg Unterhaching for the 2012/13 season. In January 2015, Voglsammer moved to the second division club 1. FC Heidenheim for an unspecified transfer fee . During the winter break of the 2015/16 season, he switched to Arminia Bielefeld. It was only in October 2016 that Voglsammer scored his first goal for Bielefeld with the winning goal against SV Sandhausen and also his first second division goal. The striker, who was already considered to be a "bad purchase", was then able to increase his scoring risk.

In the 2017/18 season , Voglsammer became the most successful player of his team with 13 goals this season, after Fabian Klos had been in the six previous years . The Arminia finished fourth at the end of the season. In the 2019/20 season , Voglsammer led the team to the autumn championship together with his strike partner Fabian Klos . The fans affectionately refer to the duo as the "toilet closet". On matchday 20, the striker suffered a metatarsal fracture at 0-0 in Aue and was out for a long time; to date he had scored ten goals and prepared five more. In the 1-1 draw against VfL Osnabrück in mid-May (26th matchday), Voglsammer returned to the pitch.

National team

Voglsammer was accepted into a German youth national team for the first time in 2008, when he was brought into the squad of the German U-16 juniors . In the same year, the young striker was called up to Germany's U-17 national team , followed by inclusion in the expanded German U-18 squad in 2009. He finally made his U-18 international debut on April 7, 2010 in the course of a friendly tournament in the United Arab Emirates against the U-19 team of South Korea, when he came on the pitch in the final phase of the match for the Netherlands legionnaire Nils Röseler . Another two short appearances will follow in the course of the tournament.
