Can Hayri Özkan (born December 2, 1999 in Bielefeld ) is a German football player of Turkish descent.

Career

The midfielder Özkan began his career at the Bielefeld amateur club TuS Brake and later moved to local rivals VfL Theesen . From there he moved to Arminia Bielefeld in 2012 at the age of 13 . There he played 21 times in the B-Junioren-Bundesliga in the 2015/16 season and scored one goal. Özcan then moved up to the A-Juniors Bundesliga , where he has scored two goals in 35 games since 2016. On February 23, 2018 Can Özkan made his professional debut when he came on for Florian Dick in the 80th minute of the second division match between Arminia and Dynamo Dresden . A few days later, Özkan signed a professional contract.

For the 2019/20 season , the defender and his teammate Nikolai Rehnen were loaned to the regional league team Alemannia Aachen .
