Nils Seufert (born February 3, 1997 in Mannheim ) is a German soccer player . He has been under contract with Arminia Bielefeld since the 2018/19 season.

Career

Nils Seufert started with club football at the Mannheim district club SC Käfertal . He later moved to SV Waldhof Mannheim and from there in 2011 to 1. FC Kaiserslautern . There he last played in the youth division for the U-19 team in the A-Juniors Bundesliga in the 2015/16 season. On September 5, 2015, he was used for the first time in the men's area for the second team of FCK in the Regionalliga Südwest . He came there in 2015/16 to a total of 16 appearances with 13 substitutions. For the 2016/17 season, a professional contract signed in March 2016 came into effect and he was promoted to the squad of the professional team (2nd Bundesliga). He did not appear in the second division this season, but established himself as a regular in the regional league team.

Seufert played his first competitive game for the professional team of FCK on October 25, 2017 in the DFB Cup game against VfB Stuttgart . After he had performed well there, he made his second division debut in the following league game on matchday 12 at SSV Jahn Regensburg .

After Lauterer's relegation, Seufert moved to Arminia Bielefeld for free in the summer of 2018 , where he signed a three-year contract.
