Dschuryn ( Ukrainian Джурин ; Russian Dschurin ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast Vinnytsia with about 3,300 inhabitants (2001).
Juryn is the only village in the district council of the same name in Sharhorod district . The 6.202 km² village is located at the confluence of the Derebtschynka ( Деребчинка ) in the Sucha ( Суха ), a 26 km long left tributary of the Murafa . Djuryn is located on the regional road P-36 22 km southeast of Sharhorod district center and 84 km south of Vinnytsia oblast center .
The village, first mentioned in writing in 1547, was the location of the Djurin Ghetto during the German-Soviet War .
