Robin Yalçın (born January 25, 1994 in Deggendorf ) is a German-Turkish soccer player .
Career
society
Robin Yalçın moved from SpVgg Grün-Weiß Deggendorf to VfB Stuttgart in 2009 . He made his professional debut on September 25, 2012 on the 11th match day of the 2012/13 season in the 3rd league against Hansa Rostock for the second team of VfB Stuttgart. On February 9, 2014, he made his Bundesliga debut on the 20th matchday of the 2013/14 season with the first division team from Stuttgart against FC Augsburg . On March 21, 2014, he signed a professional contract with VfB Stuttgart, dated until the end of June 2016.
For the 2015/16 season , Yalçın moved to the Turkish first division club Çaykur Rizespor . In January 2019 he moved on to Yeni Malatyaspor within the Süper Lig . On August 14, 2020, Sivasspor announced the signing of Robin Yalçın.
National team
Yalçın made his debut for the German U-15 national team against the USA on May 21, 2009 . On August 14, 2009 he made his debut for the German U-16 national team against Switzerland. With the U-17 national team of Germany , he was runner- up at the U-17 European Championship 2011 and finished third at the U-17 World Championship 2011 . After these two tournaments he was awarded the Fritz Walter Medal in silver. In January 2012, Yalçın rejected attempts to poach the Turkish association. On February 29, 2012, he played his first game for the German U-18 national team against the Netherlands . For Germany's U-19 national team , Yalçın made his debut on August 14, 2012 against Scotland. For the German U-20 national team , he was used for the first time on March 5, 2014 against Switzerland.
