Eren Tozlu (born December 27, 1990 in Giresun ) is a Turkish football player in the service of Yeni Malatyaspor .

Career

Eren Tozlu began club football in the youth of İl Özel İdaresi G&S and moved to the youth of Giresunspor in 2006 . Here he played for three seasons exclusively for the youth team and later for the reserve team. In 2009 he received a professional contract and took part in the preparation camp for the upcoming season. The first season he played mostly for the reserve team. However, he regularly took part in professional training and also made six matches. He made his debut on December 19, 2009 in the TFF 1st division game against Kartalspor .

In order to allow him more match practice, he was loaned to the fourth division team Pazarspor for the 2010/11 season. Here Tozlu made it straight into the regular formation and played all of his team's games.

In summer 2011 he returned to Giresunspor. A transfer ban was imposed on this club by the football association, so that you had to survive the season with the existing players. In this constellation Tozlu immediately fought for a regular place and developed over the season to the top performer of his team. With his 15 goals he was the most accurate player of his team and played a part in ensuring that his team kept the chance of relegation until the last day of the game. He also took second place behind Severin Brice Bikoko in the top scorer list of the TFF 1st Lig .

After he became the shooting star of the season, he was associated with Galatasaray Istanbul . This transfer did not materialize. Instead, Tozlu switched to first division club Mersin İdman Yurdu immediately after the last match day . For the second half of the season he was loaned to the Turkish second division team Samsunspor .

For the 2016/17 season Tozlu moved to the second division club Yeni Malatyaspor .

National team

As part of the Toulon 2012 tournament , Eren Tozlu was nominated for the second selection of the Turkish national team for the first time in his career in May 2012 . For this selection he made his first game on May 23, 2012 in an encounter against Japan's second guard. He also got his first hit.
