Mitchell Donald (born December 10, 1988 in Amsterdam ) is a Dutch football player who also had Surinamese nationality.
Career
society
Donald has played in the youth team at Ajax Amsterdam since 1996 before joining the professional squad in the winter of the 2006/07 season. On February 14, 2007, the midfielder then made his competitive debut. In the UEFA Cup , the then Ajax coach Henk ten Cate replaced Kenneth Perez in the 72nd minute match against Werder Bremen . The game was lost 0-3. Even before the start of the 2007/08 season, Donald was used in the game for the Johan Cruyff Schaal . Ajax beat PSV Eindhoven 1-0 and the youngster celebrated his first cup win. He was not directly involved in winning the KNVB Cup at the end of the preseason. In the second half of the 2009/10 season he was able to collect match practice with Willem II in Tilburg . In February 2011 he signed a three-year contract, starting with the 2011/12 season, with league competitor Roda from Kerkrade .
For the 2018/19 season Donald moved to Yeni Malatyaspor in Turkey .
National team
Donald played six games for the Netherlands' U-20s . He then moved up to the U-21 . In 2009 he was appointed to the U-21 squad for the Toulon tournament.
