Murat Yıldırım (born May 18, 1987 in Çorum ) is a Dutch Turkish football player .
Career
society
Murat Yıldırım moved to the Netherlands with his parents when he was one year old . At the age of six he played for Hellas Sport Zaandam and moved to Ajax Amsterdam at the age of 17 . His teammates at the time included Ryan Babel and Hedwiges Maduro . In 2005 he was voted Talent of the Year.
For the 2007/08 season he signed with the Turkish club Samsunspor . There, his greatest success so far was promotion to the Süper Lig for the 2011/12 season, but the team was relegated after just one season.
In the summer of 2012 he moved to the first division club Bursaspor . For the second half of the 2013/14 season Yıldırım was given to Kayseri Erciyesspor .
In the summer transfer period 2015 he moved to the second division Gaziantep Büyükşehir Belediyespor and a season later within the TFF 1. Lig to Boluspor . Here he stayed only half a season and moved on to league rivals Yeni Malatyaspor .
National team
Yıldırım played twice for the Turkish U-19 national team during his time at Ajax Amsterdam .
