Damir Bektić (born January 30, 1997 in Berlin ) is a German - Bosnian football player . He is mostly used as a central midfielder and plays for SV Tasmania Berlin

Career

In the club

Damir Bektić went through the youth department at Hertha BSC and reached the final in the 2014/15 season in the DFB junior club cup with the A-youth from Hertha BSC, where he met Energie Cottbus . He and his teammates won the club cup with a 1-0 victory in the stadium on the pitch . For the 2016/17 season he rose from the A-Jugend to the second team, which played in the Regionalliga Nordost . He made his debut for the second team on the first day of the season, where he was used by coach Ante Čović in the first half.

After the 2016/17 season, he had to leave Hertha BSC's second team. After being out of a club for six months, he was signed by Werder Bremen's second team , which played in the third division . He made his only season appearance on February 11, 2018 in the game between Werder Bremen II and SV Wehen Wiesbaden , where he was substituted on by coach Sven Hübscher for Marc-André Kruska in stoppage time in the second half . His contract, which expired at the end of the season, was not extended by the club. In the summer, FC St. Pauli signed him for its regional reserve. After a year he left Hamburg and moved to Energie Cottbus for one season in the Regionalliga Nordost . Since 2020 he has been playing in the NOFV Oberliga Nord at SV Tasmania Berlin .

In the national team

Bektić played a total of 14 times for the German U17 national team between September 2013 and May 2014 . With her he took part in the 2014 U17 European Championship in Malta , where he was used in three games.
