Career

Born in Berlin, Taz received football training from the district clubs Reinickendorfer Füchse and Hertha Zehlendorf . As a 17-year-old, he played twice for Zehlendorf's first team in the Oberliga Nordost in 2016 and scored his first goal in the men's area in a 4: 4 against FC Mecklenburg Schwerin .

A little later, in October 2016, the Turkish-German moved to 1. FC Union Berlin , with whose U19 he was promoted to the A-Junior Bundesliga as a champion in the 2017/18 season . In the run-up to the second division season 2017/18 , Taz received a professional contract with the Iron , valid until June 2019 , after he had participated in the first team's summer training camp. However, he was not used in any competitive game. Even in the promotion season 2018/19 , the midfielder could not prevail and only played for 12 minutes in the second-highest German division.

In order to gain match practice , FC Energie Cottbus , relegated to the Regionalliga Nordost , and the Berlin team agreed on a loan deal that would run until the end of the 2019/20 season , and his contract with Union was extended until 2021. With Cottbus, Taz started the season as a regular player and was able to prove his skills right from the start with an average of one goal participation per game. Until the winter break he played in the team with his Berlin team-mate Lennart Moser , who was also on loan , and who was in goal.
