Florian Hübner (born March 1, 1991 in Wiesbaden ) is a German football player who is under contract with 1. FC Union Berlin .

Career

The defender has played for SV Wehen Wiesbaden since 1994 and made his debut in the third division in 2009 . He was appointed to the German U-20 national team in October 2010 , but was not used due to an injury. On November 17, 2010 he made his national team debut in a 2-1 win over Italy's U-20s. In the summer of 2011 he moved to Borussia Dortmund in the regional league team, with which he was promoted to the third division in the summer of 2012.

For the 2013/14 season , Hübner moved to the second division club SV Sandhausen . There he scored his first goal in professional football on August 23, 2013 in a 1-1 draw against Karlsruher SC .

For the 2016/17 season , Hübner moved to the relegated Hannover 96 , with whom he was promoted to the Bundesliga in the summer of 2017. For the 2018/19 season, Hübner moved to 1. FC Union Berlin .

Florian Hübner is the son of the former Bundesliga player and current football official Bruno Hübner . His older brothers Benjamin Huebner and Christopher Huebner are also soccer players. He has been married since 2019.
