Konstantin "Kocka" Wiktorowitsch Rausch ( Russian Константин Ви́кторович Рауш ; born March 15, 1990 in Koschewnikowo , Russian SFSR , Soviet Union ) is a Russian-German football player . He has been under contract with Dynamo Moscow since mid-January 2018 and has played for the Russian national team since 2017 , after having played in the DFB junior national team .

Life

Rausch was born on March 15, 1990 in Koschewnikowo in what was then the Soviet Union . He and his Russian-German parents moved to Germany as a late repatriate at the age of six and grew up in Lachendorf in Lower Saxony . Since his first friends had difficulties pronouncing the name Konstantin, he became nicknamed "Kocka", which he still bears today.

The defender started playing soccer at TuS Lachendorf when he was six . He then played for a year and a half at SV Nienhagen . In January 2005 he moved to the youth department of Hannover 96 .

Hannover 96

Rausch played his first Bundesliga game on March 30, 2008 in the 0-0 draw between Hanover and VfB Stuttgart and was the youngest Bundesliga player from Hanover 96 until December 14, 2013, when Valmir Sulejmani was used. He played on the left Defender position, favored by injuries to regular players Michael Tarnat and Christian Schulz , and had to be replaced at halftime due to adductor problems . Two days after his debut in the Bundesliga, he signed a professional contract with Hannover 96, which was valid for the seasons 2008/09 and 2009/10 . At the end of 2009, a contract extension to 2013 was agreed.

On the first day of the 2010/11 season he scored his first Bundesliga goal in a 2-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt , and on the following day he scored for the second time this season in a 2-1 win against Schalke 04 . He scored his fifth goal of the season on matchday 34. As the only player in the squad of 96, Rausch was in the starting line-up on all 34 game days in the 2010/11 season, where he was mainly used on the left side of midfield. With Hannover 96 he qualified for the play-offs for the UEFA Europa League .

In the play-offs we sat down against the FC Sevilla by (2: 1 and 1: 1) to give Hannover 96 the first time since the European Cup of Cup Winners 1992/93 season back in the European Cup was represented. On December 15, 2011 Rausch scored his first goal in the Europa League ; in the 3-1 victory in the group game against Worskla Poltava he met the 1-0 lead.

VfB Stuttgart

On May 5, 2013, Konstantin Rausch signed a contract with VfB Stuttgart dated until the end of June 2016, which came into force when his contract in Hanover expired for the 2013/14 season . From February 2015 Rausch played in the second team at VfB and thus in the third division .

Darmstadt 98

On July 6, 2015, he moved to the newly promoted Bundesliga SV Darmstadt 98 , where he was a regular player under coach Dirk Schuster from the start and was only not used in three league games.

1. FC Cologne

For the 2016/17 season he was committed to a free transfer from 1. FC Köln . His contract ran until 2021.

Dynamo Moscow

On January 21, 2018 he moved to Dynamo Moscow , where he received a contract dated June 30, 2020. He made his debut in the Premjer League on March 4, 2018 (21st matchday) in a 1-1 draw in the away game against FK Ufa . He scored his first goal in his 41st league game on March 13, 2020 (22nd matchday) in a 3-2 win in the away game against Achmat Grozny with the goal to make it 1-1 in the 26th minute.

National team

On November 22, 2005 Konstantin Rausch made his debut for the German U-16 national team against the Netherlands. On his debut for the German U-17 team on September 21, 2006, the Netherlands were also opponents. As a regular player, Rausch reached fifth place with the German U-17s at the U-17 European Championship in 2007 and thus qualified for the U-17 World Championship . At the U-17 World Cup in South Korea in 2007 , Rausch won the bronze medal with the DFB team. After the tournament he was awarded the Fritz Walter Medal for young players in the U-17 class.

On September 25, 2007 Rausch made his debut against Rwanda for the German U-18 national team . For the U-19 National Team Germany completed Konstantin Rausch on 4 September 2008 against the Czech Republic its first game. On September 3, 2010 Konstantin Rausch made his debut for the German U-21 national team against the Czech Republic . Rausch scored his first goal for the German U-21s on November 16, 2010 in a 2-0 home win against England .

In August 2017, Rausch was nominated by Stanislaw Tschertschessow in the squad of the Russian national team for a training camp and an unofficial test match against FK Dynamo Moscow . On September 3, 2017, he was used for the first time in the 3-0 win against FK Dynamo Moscow. Since the game was not an international match, it was not included in the international match statistics. Rausch made his official international debut on October 7, 2017, when he was substituted on for Yuri Schirkow in the 64th minute of the 4-2 friendly win against South Korea . For the 2018 World Cup in his own country, he was in the provisional 28-man squad, but found himself among the five players who were removed from the final squad on June 3.
