Dmitri Valerjewitsch Chochlow ( Russian Дмитрий Валерьевич Хохлов ; born December 22, 1975 in Krasnodar ) is a former Russian football player who played on the position of midfielder.

Career

Dmitri Chochlow was trained by FK Kuban Krasnodar . He made his debut in the first division in 1992 for PFK CSKA Moscow and quickly developed into one of the team's most important players. In 1997 he moved to Torpedo Moscow for a year . From the 1998 season to January 2000 he played for the Dutch club PSV Eindhoven . In the winter of 2000, Real Sociedad San Sebastián acquired the services of Dmitri Chochlow for the club's record $ 4.8 million. In 2003 he returned to Russia to work for Lokomotiv Moscow . Since 2006 he played for FK Dynamo Moscow . In October 2010 he announced his retirement at the end of the season.

National team

In 1992 he was appointed to the Olympic team. He was also part of the Russian national team for the 1996 European Football Championship . He was also on the squad for the 2002 World Cup . In total, he made 53 games in the Russian team and scored six goals.
