Menasheh Idafar (born March 13, 1991 in London ) is a former British - Bahraini racing driver .

Career

Idafar grew up in Bahrain and began his motorsport career in karting in 2005 , where he was active until 2007. He also made his formula racing debut in the Thunder Arabia Middle Eastern Series in 2006 . He finished the season in fifth place. In 2007 he returned to the UK and competed in the BARC Formula Renault . After remaining without points in the regular championship, he finished fifth in the winter championship. In 2008 he improved to fourth place in the BARC Formula Renault with five podium finishes. Then he entered the winter championship of the British Formula Renault and was twelfth. In 2009 he switched to the British Formula Renault and finished 24th in the overall standings. In the subsequent winter championship he was third.

In 2010 Idafar competed for T-Sport in the British Formula 3 Championship . He won the national class title. His best result was a third place in the season finale. In 2011 Idafar stayed with T-Sport in the British Formula 3 Championship and started in the international classification. He entered this season with a Bahraini racing license, previously using a British one. With a second place as the best result, he finished the season in 14th place in the drivers' standings.
