Toni Šunjić (born December 15, 1988 in Mostar ) is a Bosnian-Herzegovinian football player . He has been under contract with FK Dynamo Moscow since 2017 .

Career

society

Šunjić played with Zrinjski Mostar in the Premijer Liga from 2007 to 2012 . In the 2008/09 season he was with the club of Bosnian champions . For the 2010/11 season , Šunjić was loaned to the Belgian first division club KV Kortrijk . He made his debut on September 19, 2010, the 7th matchday, in the 3-0 defeat against RSC Anderlecht . After another year in Mostar, he moved to Zorya Luhansk in the Ukrainian Premjer-Liha in February 2012 . In July 2014 he joined FK Kuban Krasnodar .

On August 27, 2015, Šunjić moved to VfB Stuttgart . He played his first game in the Bundesliga on matchday 4 in the 1: 2 away defeat against Hertha BSC , where he scored his first Bundesliga goal for VfB. In the last sixteen match of the DFB Cup against Eintracht Braunschweig , he headed the goal to the 3-2 victory in the 118th minute.

On January 20, 2017, Šunjić was awarded to US Palermo by VfB Stuttgart until the end of the 2016/17 season . For the 2017/18 season he moved to FK Dynamo Moscow .

National team

Šunjić completed ten games for the Bosnia-Herzegovina U21s . He made his senior national team debut on August 15, 2012 in the international match against Wales , when he came on for Boris Pandža in the 71st minute in the 2-0 win .

At the 2014 World Cup , Šunjić played the full game distance for Bosnia and Herzegovina in the final two games in Group F.
