Daniel Adlung (born October 1, 1987 in Fürth ) is a German soccer player . He is an attacking midfielder .
Career
societies
In his youth Adlung played for SV Hiltpoltstein, 1. FC Nürnberg and SpVgg Greuther Fürth . In the seasons 2005/06 , 2006/07 and 2007/08 he played in the 2nd Bundesliga for the professional team of Fürth. At the beginning of the 2008/09 season he moved to Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg on a free transfer , where he only played in the second team playing in the Regionalliga Nord.
In the 2009/10 season , Adlung moved to TSV Alemannia Aachen on loan . At the beginning of the 2010/11 season he moved to Energie Cottbus . In April 2013, TSV 1860 Munich committed Adlung to the 2013/14 season with a three-year contract. After relegation in the 2016/17 season , he left the club after four years. In September 2017 he followed the German coach Marco Kurz to the Australian first division club Adelaide United and signed a two-year contract.
For the 2018/19 season, Adlung will return to Greuther Fürth. In the U23 of the club he acts as a playing assistant coach. The contract runs for three years.
National team
Adlung was a selection player for various DFB teams. In 2009 he became European champion with the German U-21 national team around Mesut Özil and Manuel Neuer . In the finals in Sweden , however, he was not used.

Adlung comes from the Hiltpoltsteiner district of Kappel. He is vegan .
