The SC-ESV Parndorf 1919 is an Austrian football club from Parndorf in Burgenland and plays of the season 2019/20 in the division Burgenland , the fourth-highest division in Austria.
history
On April 29, 1988, the first joint general assembly of SC Parndorf and ESV Parndorf was held and the merger of the two clubs was decided. After two years in the fourth-class national league , the club had to relegate to the 2nd division north (5th level). In the 1992/93 season, the promotion to the highest league in Burgenland was achieved. In the years up to the 2002/03 season, SC-ESV Parndorf always played for promotion to the Regionalliga Ost . The 2002/03 season saw the greatest success in the club's history at the time: With a record advantage of 31 points and a goal difference of 78:20, SC-ESV Parndorf became champions of the Burgenland League in 1919, ultimately making it to the regional league.

In the 2003/04 season , SC / ESV Parndorf 1919 won the championship title in the Regionalliga with a 7-point lead, but missed promotion in the relegation games to the First League due to the away goals rule . In the following season 2004/05 it was only enough for the runner-up title behind FK Austria Wien II.
In the end of the 2005/06 season , Parndorf finally narrowly prevailed against its strongest rivals SKN St. Pölten and First Vienna FC and, after the second performance level was increased to twelve clubs and the relegation games were abolished, went straight to the first division. In the first year in the second highest division they managed to stay up, but in 2007/08 the Parndorfer had to return to the regional league after a 1: 2 home defeat in a direct relegation duel against DSV Leoben .
In the 2009/10 season Parndorf secured third place in the Regionalliga Ost and, after champions FC Waidhofen / Ybbs did not submit a license application and runner-up FC Admira Wacker Mödling II was not allowed to rise, thus the chance to participate in the relegation First division. After a 1-0 home win against SPG Wolfsberger AC / SK St. Andrä , there was a 4-1 defeat in the second leg in Wolfsberg, which meant that Parndorf had to remain in the regional league.
In the following year 2010/11 Parndorf failed in the relegation, this time to First Vienna FC.

In the 2012/13 season Parndorf was champion of the Regionalliga Ost and thus qualified for the relegation games against the ninth of the first division, Blau-Weiß Linz . The Burgenland won the home game against Linz 2-1 and the away game 1-0. With this, SC-ESV Parndorf managed to get promoted to the first league again in 1919, as the license requirements of the Austrian Bundesliga could be met without any problems and is one of the 20 best football teams in Austria. Due to the simultaneous relegation of SV Mattersburg from the Bundesliga , two clubs from Burgenland play in Austria's second-highest league.
In order to survive in the first division, the team was reinforced with eleven players, with no financial experiments. It was remarkable that three players from neighboring SC Neusiedl am See switched to Parndorfern.
In Austria's second-highest division, Parndorf had to wait until the 4th matchday before the first win succeeded. This was followed by a phase with nine games without full success, which slipped into the table basement. Despite a few good games, Paul Hafner's team could not improve significantly and ended the 2013/14 season in ninth place. In the relegation to remain in the First League, SC / ESV Parndorf met LASK Linz , the champions of the Regionalliga Mitte , on June 2nd and 6th . At home the Burgenland lost 0: 1, away they reached a 1: 1 in front of 10,000 spectators, which sealed the relegation to the Regionalliga Ost .

The sports club took over a women's team from FC Winden in 2009 and played in the 2nd East / South league until 2013. From this team and other women's teams from the area, a separate club was founded in 2013, the ASK Women Soccer Bruck , which withdrew from the game in 2015. The association still exists in 2019.
