Felix Wendelin (born August 13, 1992 in Eisenstadt ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Wendelin began his career at SV Gols . In 2006 he came to AKA Burgenland , where he last played in November 2009. In March 2010, he was against ASK Baumgarten for the first time in the squad of his home club SC Neusiedl am See . In April 2010 he made his debut for Neusiedl in the regional league when he was in the starting line-up on matchday 30 of the 2009/10 season against SC Ostbahn XI . By the end of the season he made three more appearances for Neusiedl in the Regionalliga, and ended the season with the Burgenland in seventh place in the table.

In the 2010/11 season, Wendelin was used in six games in the Regionalliga and remained without a goal. At the end of the season he was eighth in the table with Neusiedl. In the 2012/13 season, however, he was second to last in the Regionalliga Ost and had to relegate to the regional league. The club was missing a point on a non-relegation place. During that season, Wendelin made three appearances in the regional league. In the season after relegation he finished eighth in the Burgenland regional league with the club in the 2012/13 season.

For the 2013/14 season, Wendelin moved to the second division SC-ESV Parndorf 1919 . In February 2014 he made his debut for Parndorf in the second division when he came on as a substitute for Richard Stern on matchday 20 that season against First Vienna FC in the 81st minute . In May 2014 he was in the starting line-up of Parndorf for the first time on the 33rd matchday against SCR Altach . By the end of the season he came to a total of six missions in the second-highest division, in which he remained without a goal. At the end of the season he finished ninth and thus penultimate place in the table with the promoted team, which meant that you had to play in relegation to keep up. In this one failed, however, against the champion of the Regionalliga Mitte, LASK , after a defeat and a draw and thus had to relegate to the Regionalliga. Wendelin was not used in the relegation games.

After relegation, he was able to score his first goal in the Regionalliga in a 3-0 win against SV Stegersbach in August 2014 . By the end of the 2014/15 season, he had played 21 games in the Regionalliga and scored two goals. With Parndorf he finished the season as runner-up behind SC Ritzing . Since the Ritzingers had been denied the license for the second highest division, he was allowed to participate with Parndorf in the relegation for promotion. In this, however, as in the previous season, the champions of the Regionalliga Mitte, SK Austria Klagenfurt , failed after a win and a defeat with a total score of 5: 3. Wendelin played the full distance in both games against the Carinthians. Thus, he took part with the Burgenlanders in the 2015/16 season in the Regionalliga, in which he played 18 games and scored two goals. However, they had nothing to do with the promotion this season, they ended the season 27 points behind the champions SV Horn in seventh place. In the 2016/17 season he placed Parndorf in ninth place in the table, Wendlin played 21 regional league games in that season and scored one goal.

In the 2017/18 season he was used in 30 of 31 season games, only in the 15th round he was suspended against ASK Ebreichsdorf . With Parndorf he finished that season 13th in the table.
