By the end of the season he completed 18 games for the Viennese in the Regionalliga, in which he scored a goal, but he had to relegate to the Vienna City League as 13th in the Regionalliga Ost . In the 2003/04 season, Kummerer took sixth place in the city league with Stadlau.

Change to Burgenland

For the 2004/05 season he moved to the regional division SC-ESV Parndorf 1919 . In his first season for the Burgenland, he completed 20 regional league games and scored two goals. At the end of the season he was runner-up with Parndorf in the Regionalliga Ost, the club were four points short of promotion. In the 2005/06 season he was finally able to become champions with the club one point ahead of runner-up St. Pölten and thus move up to the second division . In the promotion season he came to 18 missions in which he could score two goals.

After promotion, Kummerer made his debut in the second highest division in August 2006 when he was in the starting line-up against SC Austria Lustenau on the first day of the 2006/07 season . In September 2006 he scored his first goal in the second division in a 1-0 win against FC Kärnten . By the end of the season he had completed 31 games in the second division and was able to score three goals. At the end of the season he finished ninth in the table with the promoted team. In the 2007/08 season he came to 28 second division appearances in which he scored a goal. At the end of the season, however, he finished eleventh in the table with Parndorf, which meant that after two years they had to relegate to the regional league.

Via Vienna into the regional league

After relegation, Kummerer moved to the second-rate second team of FK Austria Wien for the 2008/09 season, for whom he had already played in his youth. For Austria II, he played 21 games in the second division that season, but remained without a goal. At the end of the season he finished sixth with the team. After a season with Austria, he moved to the fourth-class UFC Purbach for the 2009/10 season . With Purbach he finished that season in the Landesliga Burgenland in fifth place in the table.

Return to Parndorf

For the 2010/11 season he returned to Parndorf. In the first season after his return, he completed 22 games for Parndorf in the Regionalliga Ost and scored one goal. In that season he was able to become champions with Parndorf and thus play in the relegation for promotion. In this one failed, however, after two defeats against the second division ninth First Vienna FC ; Kummerer was used in both relegation games over the full distance. In the following season 2011/12 he was used in 26 regional league games and scored two goals; Parndorf finished fourth in the table at the end of the season. In the 2012/13 season he was again champion with Parndorf; that season he played 29 games and scored two goals. In the subsequent relegation, they defeated the second division bottom of the table, FC Blau-Weiß Linz , in both games and thus rose to the second division. Kummerer was used in both relegation games over the full distance, in the second leg he also scored the 1-0 goal with a penalty. After promotion, he came to 34 second division appearances in the 2013/14 season, in which he scored three goals. At the end of the season he finished ninth and penultimate place in the table with Parndorf, which meant that you had to play in relegation for relegation. In this one failed, however, against the champion of the Regionalliga Mitte, LASK , after a defeat and a draw and thus had to relegate back to the Regionalliga. As in the previous season, Kummerer was used in both relegation games. Besides Richard Stern, Kummerer is the only Parndorf player who has been part of the team in all three of the club's second division seasons.

After relegation, he played 28 games in the Regionalliga by the end of the 2014/15 season, scoring two goals. With Parndorf he finished the season as runner-up behind SC Ritzing . Since the Ritzingers had been denied the license for the second highest division, he was allowed to participate with Parndorf in the relegation for promotion. In this, however, as in the previous season, the champions of the Regionalliga Mitte, SK Austria Klagenfurt , failed after a win and a defeat with a total score of 5: 3. Kummerer was in the squad in both games against the Carinthians. So he took part with the Burgenlanders in the 2015/16 season in the Regionalliga, in which he played 15 games in that season and did not score a goal. However, they had nothing to do with the promotion this season, they ended the season 27 points behind the champions SV Horn in seventh place.
