The men's discus throw at the European Athletics Championships in 1950 was held on August 24 and 26, 1950 in the Heysel Stadium in the Belgian capital, Brussels .

In this competition, the results of the European Championships in 1946 and the Olympic Games in 1948 were repeated in the first two places . There was a double win for Italy. European champion was Adolfo Consolini ahead of Giuseppe Tosi . Bronze went to the Finn Olavi Partanen.
