The men's long jump at the European Athletics Championships 1950 was held on August 25 and 26, 1950 in the Heysel Stadium in the Belgian capital, Brussels .

The Icelander Torfi Bryngeirsson won . Vice European champion was the Dutchman Gerard Wessels. Bronze went to the Czechoslovak Jaroslav Fikejz .
