The men's 4 x 400 meter relay at the European Athletics Championships in 1950 was held on August 26 and 27, 1950 in the Heysel Stadium in the Belgian capital, Brussels .

European champion was Great Britain in the occupation Martin Pike , Leslie Lewis , Angus Scott and Derek Pugh . Italy won the silver medal with Baldassare Porto , Armando Filiput , Luigi Paterlini and Antonio Siddi . Bronze went to Sweden (Gösta Brännström, Tage Ekfeldt, Rune Larsson , Lars-Erik Wolfbrandt ).
