Angus Scott

Angus Scott ( Angus Weatherit Scott; born August 16, 1927 - March 16, 1990 ) was a British hurdler who specialized in the 400-meter distance and, because of his sprinting strength, also in the 4-by-400-meter Relay was used.

At the European Championships in Brussels in 1950 , he reached the semifinals over 400 meter hurdles and won the British 4 x 400 meter relay.

In 1952 he was eliminated from the quarterfinals of the Helsinki Olympics .

He set his personal best of 52.4 s on August 24, 1952 in Paris .
