Martin Pike (athlete)
Martin Pike ( Martin William Pike; born July 12, 1920 in Tendring , † January 10, 1997 in Taunton ) was a British sprinter who specialized in the 400-meter run .
At the Olympic Games in London in 1948 , the 4-by-400-meter relay with the British quartet was eliminated in advance.
In 1950 he won the European Championships in Brussels with the British 4 x 400 meter relay.
In 1939 he became English champion over 440 yards . He set his personal best over 400 meters of 48.6 s in 1950.
