Jared Deacon
Jared Deacon ( Jared Mark Deacon ; born October 15, 1975 in South Shields ) is a former British sprinter and hurdler , who had his greatest successes in the 4-by-400-meter relay .
At the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney he was part of the British relay, which finished fifth.
In 2000 he won gold both with the English team at the Commonwealth Games in Manchester and with the British team at the European Athletics Championships in Munich .
Jared Deacon started for the South Shields Harriers Athletic Club.
