David McKenzie (athlete)

David Colin McKenzie (born September 3, 1970 ) is a former British sprinter who specialized in the 400-meter run .

In 1994 he reached the semi-finals in individual competitions at the European Athletics Championships in Helsinki and at the Commonwealth Games in Victoria and won the 4 x 400 meter relay with the British and English teams . He also triumphed in the British 4 x 400 meter relay at the World Cup in Athletics in London .

At the World Athletics Championships in Gothenburg in 1995 , he came fourth with the British 4 x 400 meter relay.

He set his personal best of 45.47 s on June 12, 1994 in Sheffield .
