Glen Cohen
Glen Cohen (actually Glendon Howard Cohen; born April 22, 1954 in Linstead , Jamaica ) is a former British sprinter who specialized in the 400-meter run .
In 1974 he won the European Athletics Championships in Rome with the British team in the 4 x 400 meter relay .
At the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, he reached the quarter-finals over 400 m and failed in the run-up to the 4-by-400-meter relay .
The following year he was at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in 1977 in San Sebastián fifth over 400 m.
In 1978 he was fifth in the individual competition at the Commonwealth Games in Edmonton and was disqualified in the final with the English 4-by-400-meter relay. At the EM in Prague he was eliminated over 400 m in the semi-finals and with the British 4 x 400 meter relay in the preliminary run.
At the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow, he reached the quarter-finals again over 400 m . In the final of the 4 x 400 meter relay , he did not finish with the British team.
In 1977 he was British indoor champion over 200 m .
