John MacIsaac

John MacIsaac (born June 6, 1937 ) is a former British sprinter who specialized in the 400-meter run .

Sports life

In 1958 he was sixth over 440 yards at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Cardiff and was eliminated with the Scottish 4-by-440-yard relay in advance. A month later he won the European Athletics Championships in Stockholm with the British team in the 4-by-400-meter relay .

His personal best over 440 yards of 47.48 s (47.22 s over 400 m) he set on July 22, 1958 in Cardiff .
