Tendring is a village and a civil parish in Essex , the eponymous municipality for the District Tendring and in the centuries before for the Tendring hundred - both not because of its size compared to the other villages in the landscape, but because of its central location. Tendring includes Goose Green, Tendring Green and Tendring Heath. The village has 736 inhabitants (as of 2011).
